Marshall's first haircut!

Well.... My baby had his first haircut today and he was so good. I am sure he had no idea what was going on but that made for a better time. He made it out of there with NO tears but I on the other hand teared up a little and realized I was being ridiculous so I stopped. I just can't believe how much he is growing up.
He really liked the Corvette he was sitting in today and they also blew bubbles for him so of course he was entertained the whole time. I actually had to stand him up for the lady to cut the back of his hair. It was so long she couldn't get to it while he was sitting. :)
We survived today so I hope he does this good in the future!!

Early birthday present

This is Marshall's birthday present from us but he just happened to get it a little early. He has LOVED it! Although I have decided that I have a climber as you can see he goes over the front of it instead of the doors in the back. :) It is inflatable which was probably a mistake because it will probably be busted by his actual birthday? I know that boys are rough on toys but man.... We have had to rearrange lots of stuff because he is climbing on things onto other bigger things. (may I remind you that we have tile floor everywhere so climbing onto big things isn't the best thing to fall from) I can't believe that he is almost a year old. Where does the time go? I guess I will be pretty busy with this little monkey man for a good while!

1st Clemson game

Where to begin... We left the house early so that we could go see some friends. We got to see Mike and Meredith and little Addison. Marshall didn't know quite what to think of that sweet little girl. Marshall decided that he didn't need an afternoon nap so he made it until the game was about to start and then... Jim was carrying him and I was pushing the stroller back down the BIG hill to the car. By the time we were heading back up the BIG hill Marshall had fallen asleep. Jim was still carrying him dead weight and all. We got into the stadium and were sitting in the upper deck on row O so Jim still carrying the sleeping man was worn out by the time we got to our seats. Marshall slept for about 30 minutes tops and enjoyed about a quarter of the game and then we had to leave because of bedtime. All in all we had a great time in the heat but it sure was quite different having a baby to look after this year! :)
